Now, according to a report, the South Korean company is working on a 600-megapixel sensor camera.

The report also provided a slide of an internal company a document detailing the censorship.

It was written in this slide that as 4K and 8K video records are becoming more common now, Samsung wants to provide a bigger sensor so that the user can record zoom videos without affecting the quality.

The first report on the censorship came in April 2020, with a statement from Yongin Park, the company's head of censorship business.

In the statement, Yongin Park revealed that it wants to work on a 600-megapixel sensor to provide a more detailed view than the human eye.

"Human eye matches the 500-megapixel resolution and improvement of this new sensor means to make the camera stunningly better than the natural eye, which can be used in a number of products outside the world of smartphones," They said.

But the 600-megapixel camera may not soon be part of phones, as Samsung will have to address the issue of its location in the device first.

In fact, such a large sensor would require a lot of space on the back of the phone and would not be an easy task.

Even in April, Yongin Park declined to give a date or a deadline for the introduction of the sensor, but it is likely that it will soon be introduced, at least in concept form.
